Jumping to conclusions

Mike doesn’t receive an instant reply from Rita and thinks she has lost interest in him. Jenna notices her boss didn’t smile when she greeted him. Now she’s convinced she must have pissed him off somehow. She tries to figure out what she did wrong. Jacob believes if he tries to be a good person and goes to church occasionally, he will get a ticket to heaven. The list goes on. Years ago, in a class focusing
