The human mind is a powerful thing – but it isn't invincible. In every psyche, there is a breaking point, and each individual's threshold for stress and trauma is unique to them. When a person experiences something that is traumatic or terrifying in some way, their minds can develop a disorder called Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, or PTSD.
PTSD can be triggered by anything that pushes the threshold of stress-tolerance in a person's mind, but is generally caused by something sudden and impactful. Individuals with PTSD may experience a wide-array of symptoms, including flashbacks, nightmares, anxiety, depression and heightened reactivity to otherwis
