Kathryne Ann Jordan, 89, passed away peacefully on March 10, 2021. She was born Dec. 28, 1931, in Monticello, Fla., to Bailey Stokley and Josseye Taylor Stokley. In 1950, Ann married Robert V. Jordan from Crystal River, Fla.
She was predeceased by her brother, Bailey Stokley Jr., and her sister, Margaret Mills, both of Monticello. Ann is survived by her sister, Betty Stokley Formby, of Tallahassee. She is also survived by her children, Daphyne Annette Sapp, of Deland, Fla., Pamela Jordan Buchanan, of Folkston, Ga., Robert Victor Jordan of Groveland, Fla., and their spouses; grandchildren, Jessica Ann Buchanan Martin, Gary Shane Sapp, Terry Dwayne Sapp, Timothy Michael Sapp, their spouses and their children. All of these she loved and touched deeply.
Ann loved children and enjoyed being with people. She was a cheerleader at Jefferson County High School in Monticello. Ann was active in her churches throughout her life, including the Church of God in Monticello, Conyers Christian Center and the Homeland Pentecostal Church in Folkston, Ga. She spent many years working in the pecan business with her family in Monticello. She spent much of her life working family history.
Her life was celebrated on Tuesday morning March 16, 2021, at 10 a.m. at Beggs Funeral Home, Monticello Chapel, 485 E. Dogwood St. Monticello, Fla.
