“Kindergarten, here we come!”

Hailey Heseltine ECB Publishing, Inc.  On May 19, Pre-K students at Jefferson County Schools (JCS) celebrated their graduation from Pre-K and their start of Kindergarten upcoming this fall. The graduates were from the classes of Ms. Barrington, Mrs. Frierson and Mr. Lipman, with 29 total students celebrating.  The ceremony began with the presentation of colors by the JROTC and welcoming words from Homecoming Princess Averi Proctor, Homecoming Prince Ja'Cari Robinson and JCS Principal Marlon Ball.  JCS's Class of 2025 Salutatorian, Desmond Whitfield, delivered the graduation speech and passed the Tiger Baton to the class to officially welcome them out of Pre-K, to Kindergarten,
