Lady Warriors defeated in district tournament

Rick Patrick ECB Publishing, Inc. The Aucilla Christian Academy (ACA) Lady Warriors faced off against the Cowgirls of Madison County High School on Tuesday, April 28. The game was the Rural Class District Five Tournament Semi-final game. The Cowgirls scored four runs in their opening inning on their way to an 8-1 win over the Lady Warriors.  For the Lady Warriors, Alexandria Whaley, Harli Ray and Macy Morgan had hits. Whaley scored the sole run for the Lady Warriors when she stole home plate in the top of the sixth inning.  Makayla Kelly handled pitching duties for the Lady Warriors, yielding seven hits, three earned runs and three walks. Kelly also struck out five batters.
