Any team that stands against the Aucilla Christian Academy (ACA) Lady Warriors on the volleyball court should be wary.
With only a few games left in their season, the powerful ACA Lady Warriors volleyball team continues to keep a tight fist on the games they play at home or while visiting other teams.
After starting their game off with two losses, the ACA Lady Warriors made a valiant comeback, as they dominated the court against several visiting teams in August.
Starting their September games off, the ACA team suffered another loss at the hands of the Taylor County Bulldogs on Tuesday, Sept. 3 before pulling themselves together and striking a win against the neighboring Madison County Cowgirls on Thursday, Sept. 5.
That winning streak continued to prevail throughout September when the Aucilla ladies faced the North Florida Christian Eagles on Tuesday, Sept. 10 (winning 3-0), the St. John Paul II Panthers on Thursday, Sept. 12 (winning 3-0), the Florida A&M High School Baby Rattlers on Tuesday, Sept. 17 (winning 3-0), the Suwannee High School Bulldogs on Thursday, Sept. 19 (winning 3-0) and the Corinth Christian Academy Warriors on Friday, Sept. 20 (winning 3-0).
The ACA Lady Warriors would come up against the Florida A&M High School Baby Rattlers for a second time on Monday, Sept. 23, stomping out another 3-0 win over the Rattlers before scoring another 3-0 win during their final September game, on Tuesday, Sept. 24, against the Wakulla Christian School Saints.
With only three games left in the ACA Lady Warriors' volleyball schedule, its undoubtable that the ladies of Aucilla Christian Academy will want to continue their triumphant winning streak as they end out their season.
The next game for the ACA Lady Warriors will be a home non-conference game against the St. John Paul Panthers on Tuesday, Oct. 1. The game, which is slated to start at 6 p.m., will be a chance for the Lady Warriors to show their strength once more against the visiting Panthers, or accept defeat at the hands of the Tallahassee-based team during the second face-off against the Panthers.
After playing against the Panthers, the Lady Warriors will have another home non-conference game against the Taylor County Bulldogs on Tuesday, Oct. 8. This is another team that the Lady Warriors have played, and defeated (3-1) in the past, so it will be either a chance for the Lady Warriors to re-leash the Bulldogs or be beaten back in the second go-round.
The final scheduled game for the Lady Warriors will be held away at their opponent's gym, on Thursday, Oct. 10. The ladies of ACA will face the Madison County Cowgirls who have, admittedly, stumbled a bit during their 2019 season. Overall, the Cowgirls have won only three of their 14 games. When compared to the Lady Warriors 10-3 overall score, the game promises to be an interesting watch, whichever way it goes.
