Lamont pedestrian critically injured

Laura Young ECB Publishing, Inc. On Monday, Dec. 23, a person walking across the parking lot of Arby's in Lamont, Fla., was struck by a vehicle and critically injured. The report filed by the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) states that a 29-year-old female resident of Lamont turned her car into the Arby's parking lot but failed to see a pedestrian, a 73-year-old woman also of Lamont. The front right of the vehicle collided with the pedestrian, who fell in the parking lot near where she was hit. The vehicle came to a controlled stop near the area of collision.
