Most people hone in on this once a year, but my life has ended up with multiple occasions to celebrate the “new year.” I like observing the Winter Solstice that happened a couple of weeks ago, but that didn't stop me from shouting out messages of happiness as our constructed calendar flipped its page from December to January. In addition, our family also notes the Lunar New Year, which in 2024 will be Feb. 10.
