Lawmakers come to town to hear local issues

With the 2025 spring session of the Florida Legislature set to begin on March 4, the Jefferson County Legislative Delegation made its annual trip to Monticello on Wednesday, Dec. 18, both to interact with local officials and constituents and to gather community input for the coming session. The delegation this year consisted of Representative Allison Tant, who chaired the hearing, and Senator Corey Simon.
