Leaves and Limestone: Cool ferns for high heat

Jennifer Mason Contributor As the high heat of mid summer is upon us, I find that few wildflowers dare to risk blooming in the intense sun. I have a few showing their blooms – namely red sage, Salvia coccinea; pigeon wings, Clitoria Mariana; and butterfly pea, Centrosema virginianum.
