Newspapers like the one you're reading today play a valuable role in society. They keep citizens informed on the happenings of their community and the world around them. They give people a voice and a place to openly express their opinions through commentary. These papers can also be archived to provide valuable insights to future citizens as an authentic snapshot of the past. As of this week, it has been 321 years since the publication of the first continuous newspaper in the United States.
From the Jamestown Colony's establishment in 1607 to over 80 years later, there were no newspapers at all in the colonies. Publisher, printer and coffee
