Carly Peary Contributor A local team of young engineers are going to the state championship for LEGO Robotics! Seven local students won the regional FIRST LEGO League Robot Game challenge earlier this month by scoring 345 points, surpassing 31 other teams from the Panhandle and qualifying for the state championship in West Palm Beach on March 9. Finn Feinberg (age 12), Jake Peary (12), Thaddeus Kocher (11), Dahlia Williams (10), Alistair Canup (10), Hugh Kocher (9) and Lily Peary (9) form the “LEGO Lunatics,” a team sponsored by the Jefferson County Homeschool Association Inc.
