Continuing its expansion of services and community center role, the Jefferson County R. J. Bailar Public Library recently entered an agreement with CareerSource Capital Region (CSCR) via the county to assist local residents who are seeking jobs or career advancement opportunities.
The memorandum of understanding (MOU) that the Jefferson County Commission signed on Thursday morning, Aug. 1, with the Big Bend Jobs and Education Council, Inc. (doing business as CSCR), allows the latter nonprofit to use the library as a community outreach station one day a week.
