Linda Jeanette Key McDaniel, 71, passed away on Aug. 13, 2021, in Lake Park, Ga. She was born May 6, 1950, in Moultrie, Ga., the daughter of Vernon O. and Margaret Jeanette (Wilson) Key.
Linda was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Monticello. She enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren and working jigsaw puzzles.
In addition to her father, she was predeceased by brother, Tony Key, and sister, Vernette Davidson. Survivors include her husband, James McDaniel; daughters: Lindsey Washington (Steve), of Pinetta, Fla. and Kellee Fletcher (Mark), of Valdosta, Ga.; brothers: Dennis Key and Vernie Key (Lynn), both of Monticello; sister, Dot Pitts (Donnie), of Monticello; five grandchildren: Abby, Luke, and Haylee Washington, Emma Fletcher, and Savannah Fletcher Moore (Christian); one great grandchild, Sutton Moore; and Linda’s mother.
A graveside service was held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 17, 2021 at Evergreen Cemetery in Greenville, Fla. Arrangements by Beggs Funeral Home, 485 E. Dogwood St., Monticello, Fla.
