The Jefferson County and Tallahassee Lions Clubs will be partnering up together as they plan a Saturday Yard Sale Fundraiser, with a date to be determined soon, depending on donations.
With people having to stay at home because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the thought is that a lot of closets and garages have been cleaned out, and there is a lot of unused and unwanted articles of clothing, toys, children's things and a variety of other items.
So, why not donate all that “stuff” to the local Lions for resale, with all funds raised going back into the community in the form of eyeglasses and hearing aids.
Coming soon will be a “free” clothing giveaway and an awesome yard sale, offering a wide variety of new and used treasures.
Several bags filled with clothing have been donated so far, with calls in for pick ups and drop-offs.
