Local bar reopens as Flashbacks

A bar that has drawn locals to the northern edge of Jefferson County for decades has a new name and many new updates that its new owners hope will bring both longtime customers back and first-time patrons out for an affordable, friendly, fun time. Mike and DeDe Wheeler became the proprietors of the well-known Capri Lounge on April 16 and a couple of weeks later reopened it as Flashbacks. They've retained much of the staff, including Cindy Frye as general manager, a role she's had there for 20 years.
