Local churches visit Augusta and Charlotte

Story Submitted Elizabeth A.M.E. and Union Bethel A.M.E. Church visited Augusta Ga, and Charlotte, N.C., for their 15th Annual Church Trip. Trip Coordinator Leman Ulee reserved for the group a 56-passenger charter bus from Astro Travel & Tours out of Tallahassee. En route to Charlotte, the group stopped in Augusta to visit the Augusta Museum of History. There they learned about the history of the city and the accomplishments of the late James Brown, a.k.a.
