Local cub pack leader honored

Laura Young ECB Publishing, Inc. Jefferson County Cub Scout Pack 803 was honored to have Assistant Cubmaster/Den Leader Amanda Fortunato presented with the District Award of Merit last year. The Suwannee River Area Council for Scouting America gives this award to volunteers who have provided outstanding service and dedication to the program. Fortunato has been involved in scouting 14 years, since working as a youth in the Crew Program at the local Scout Camp. Today, she runs many camp programs for the council.
