Landowners in 11 Florida counties will have the opportunity to tap into $25 million in federal financial assistance for land management practices and permanent land conservation thanks to a new partnership between Tall Timbers and the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS).
The funding award to Tall Timbers was announced in mid-October and builds upon the success of a similar partnership it has implemented since 2021 in a portion of the Red Hills region.
The Tallahassee-based nonprofit research station and land conservancy, was among two other organizations – Wildlands Conservation and Florida Conservation Group – to receive funding awards from NRCS
