Local resident publishes children’s book

Hailey Heseltine ECB Publishing, Inc.  To Monticello resident Raymond Scarola, writing is one of the best ways to share his voice with the world. “I have always loved to write,” he says. “Writing is one of my passions, and I have been writing since elementary school. I wrote a play in 7th grade, I wrote a few sketches for my high school senior show...it was my love of writing that inspired me to write and to publish.” Scarola published his first book, “The Vikings and the Seals and Other Children's Stories,” under pen name Robert Michaels in February.
