Local sisters celebrate their first childrens’ book with book signing

A local author and a local illustrator celebrated last week their achievement of publishing their first children's book. 15-year-old Belle Burrell and 17-year-old Zoe Burrell celebrated their children's book, “A Problem for Belle: a child's fight with illness,” at a book signing on Tuesday, July 23. From 12:30 to 2 p.m., the community room at the Jefferson County R.J. Bailar Public Library was filled with friends, family and support for the sisters. Belle, the author, said it took her and Zoe about two years to complete the book, from the start of the idea to publishing it.
