Local youth council receives $30K in grants

Gladys Roann-Watson Contributor The Jefferson County Youth Council is excited and pleased to share that it has applied for and received two grants: $15,000 from the National Recreation Foundation and $15,000 from a private donor. The grants are for a two-year period, 2024-2026. This funding has been awarded to enhance the experiences of students at the Jefferson K-12 School (JCS).
