Machete attack brings FDLE crime team to Monticello

On Monday, March 25, at 2:44 p.m., the Monticello Police Department (MPD) received a call reporting a physical altercation at a residence on East Washington Street involving someone being cut. MPD Patrolman Cain responded to the residence and made contact with the victim. Jefferson County Fire Rescue (JCFR) also responded to the residence for medical assistance.
