Major is looking for a forever home

Heather Ainsley ECB Publishing, Inc.  Jefferson County is home to an incredible number of animals, and a great number of them have amazing owners that care for them with dignity, care and no short amount of love. But every so often, an animal may find itself in a difficult situation, without the care of a loving home. Lost, abandoned or abused animals often find their way into the local animal welfare system, which is comprised of the cooperation of residents, private businesses and governmental facilities.
