
March is Women’s History Month

Since 1987, March has been designated as National Women's History Month in the United States and several other countries around the world. The month also includes Women's Day on the 8th, which is an international event.
The reason why Women's History Month exists is that historically, many women's stories have been left untold. Many historical narratives focus on men's perspectives. Some women who have made even groundbreaking contributions in arts and sciences remain relatively unknown, both in history and accomplishments.
