Marriage & meddling

I was disappointed to see that the Baptist Convention has made movements to try and outlaw same-sex marriage. What an amazing case of, “my world is the entire world” mentality. The inability for some people to see society outside their own beliefs, outside their own echo-chamber, will never cease to surprise me. How selfish of a group must you belong to, how perfectly self-absorbed and self-serving? I do wonder how many people who use religion as a way to control ideals of marriage hold them
