Martin King, Jr. of Monticello passed at Hospice House on Thursday, June 24, 2021. Deacon King was a decorated Korean War Army veteran, a retired NYC police officer and past Chairman of the Board of Deacons at Casa Bianca. He was also an avid fisherman.
Survivors include his daughters: Tomica King (Mervin) Jackson, Anita King and Drucilla King; sons: Gerald King and Gregory (Angela) Davis; sisters: Macilla King Bailey, Maxine Rivers and Frankye Cook; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services are 12 p.m. Friday, July 2, 2021 at Casa Bianca M.B. Church, Monticello. Burial will follow at 2 p.m. at Tallahassee National Cemetery. Viewing and visitation will be Thursday 4 to 6 p.m., July 1, at Casa Bianca. Tillman Of Monticello is honored to serve the King family.
