Math scores leap at JCS

Over the summer when the Florida Department of Education issued its 2024 school grade for Jefferson County K-12, A Community Partnership School (JCS), data was provided in twelve different components which, when taken all together, gave the school a “B” rating. Even as celebration spread throughout the community for the overall grade, the different pockets of data were looked at from many perspectives and for various purposes. The three math components for 2024, for example, recently have been analyzed by Educational Development Associates, Inc. (EDA), the company that began providing its Acaletics Math Program to JCS last year. By their calculations
