Local newspaper advertisers have started hearing a new voice on the phone line, that of Timothy Dover. ECB Publishing, Inc. welcomed Dover as its advertising representative last week, and he is off to an impressive start making connections in the community. He brings to the position experience in both sales and graphic design, a perfect combination for visualizing impactful ways that local businesses and businesses and agencies can communicate what they have to offer with readers of the Monticello News, Jefferson County Journal and The Front Porch magazine.
Dover moved to Florida from Colorado, roughing it for awhile in a campground while he saved money to buy land for a home. After checking out properties in several North Florida counties, he couldn't deny the beauty of Jefferson County, and made our community his home in 2018.
He and his wife, Shoshana, have a blended family that includes seven children, with one more due to arrive in September. He says that he is an artist at heart and also enjoys gardening, especially growing micro-greens. In fact, he's established an LLC for selling the greens and also is studying to become a certified clinical medical herbalist.
Dover is enjoying the way being an ad rep gets him out in the community, learning about the people and places that make Jefferson County a great place to be.
