Meet Tosca Williams, the face of FACE

Laura Young ECB Publishing, Inc. There's a new face on the campus of Jefferson County K-12 School (JCS), and its smile and friendly eyes belong to Tosca Williams. She returned a few years ago to the county of her birth, ready to give back to the community where her personal ties go deep. In her new role as the JCS FACE (Family and Community Engagement Coordinator), she has a unique chance to do just that. During just a few months on the job, Williams has been instrumental in finding tutors and mentors to work with students, implementing reading initiatives during the aftercare program and conducting “boot camps” for students preparing to take college entrance exams.
