Meet Adrian Hawkins, a Tampa native whose family moved to Monticello, Fla., in 2004. He works for Tri-Eagle Sales, where he delivers beverages to grocery stores.
Some of Adrian’s hobbies are playing basketball on Saturdays during free time and playing video games like Madden NFL, Call of Duty and Apex Legend. He loves to fish, run and lift weights. An interesting thing about him is that he was a former athlete who started at Jefferson County Middle / High School playing varsity cornerback for four years, as well as baseball and track and field. He is an alumnus who graduated in 2017.
Some of his favorite reasons for living in small town are less traffic, low crime rate and peacefulness. He even thinks our small, country town smells good. His favorite things to do locally are to go to the store to get groceries for his household, play basketball for two to three hours and run around the track. Adrian has a dog named Chase.
“My dog is adorable,” said Adrian. “Chase is a medium bully. He is seven years old... He is grey with beautiful eyes.”
Whether he is shooting hoops, delivering beer or enjoying some screen time, Adrian is glad to be among his neighbors in Jefferson County.
