Meet Jill Lynch, your passionate and friendly neighbor. She is a newer resident of Jefferson County, only having moved here last January. She was originally from southern California, but she and her husband moved to Tennessee for work. Later, they decided to move to Florida, where they ended up in Ellenton. When Lynch's daughter and son-in-law decided to look for land in North Florida, which happened to be in Jefferson County, they decided to move onto the land as a family, Lynch is immensely grateful to be a part of our community, saying that “God brought [her] here.”
Though she is hard at work caring for family, including her two beloved granddaughters, she also makes time to run the Monticello-Jefferson County Women's Bible Study Group. She stated that she holds ministry, especially ministry with other women in her community, at a high regard.
“The most important thing to me is my relationship with Jesus,” she says.
Because of that, she tries to be a model to others and makes it her aim to reach out to other local women for camaraderie and support.
“To walk alongside them through the good and the bad...that's pretty much my passion,” she explains.
When Lynch is not engaged in other activities, she likes to spend time outdoors, especially by going to the beach, hiking and reading, which she says “makes [her] feel peaceful and happy.”
She also loves to mingle with the community by visiting downtown, where she can shop, eat and enjoy association with friends. She loves Monticello, and the community unity and friendliness is her favorite part.
“I really like all of it,” she says. “And I want to get to know others and to be known.”
