Meet your neighbor: Macie Clifton

She was originally born in New Mexico, but considers her childhood home to be Texas, as she was mostly raised there and graduated high school there. Because some family lives in Monticello, however, she decided to make the move about a year ago. Clifton has enjoyed being a waitress at The Social since July 2023. She says she chose the job because she has always been a socially-oriented individual, which made a job that involves a lot of interaction ideal for her. “I'm a people-person, so I really liked the idea,” she says.
