Hailey Heseltine ECB Publishing, Inc. Meet Mona Lewis! Lewis was born in Massillon, Ohio, and raised in the Fort Myers area. She decided to move to North Florida after visiting her brother, a Florida State University (FSU) student, and “falling in love with Tallahassee.” Lewis earned a bachelor's degree in Public Relations, graduating in 1982. Afterward, she found work locally in the PR field, and decided to remain in Tallahassee; Lewis moved to Jefferson County after marrying her husband in 1987. She later returned to FSU for a second bachelor's degree in English Education, which she earned in 1988. Though Lewis is now retired, she enjoyed a 30-year career in the field of educati
