In his twenties, he decided to move back to California, where he stayed until he learned his family was planning to move to Florida. Grettenberger was already hoping to move from California to either Texas or Florida, so, just over two years ago, he moved to Jefferson County alongside his family. He presently lives on the far east side of Leon County, just miles from the Jefferson line. Grettenberger was homeschooled as a child.
