Liford is originally from Melbourne, Fla., and moved to Jefferson County in 2001.  Liford was a real estate paralegal for 25 years and currently works as a real estate broker. She describes her entry into the field as “just kind of happening;” she first entered the law field at 17 as a receptionist for a local firm, eventually ending up in the real estate division, which piqued her interest in the field and prompted her to take relevant classes at a college.
