Gray was born and raised in Tallahassee, where she lived until just two years ago, when she decided it was time for a change. “I just wanted to get out of Tallahassee,” she says. Though she also considered moving to Havana, she says she chose Monticello primarily because she had friends living here and loved the downtown area. Now, she feels right at home in our little community. Gray has an AA, which she earned from Tallahassee Community College in 1998.
