Meet your neighbor – Valerie Brown

Hailey Heseltine ECB Publishing, Inc. Meet Valerie Brown, a fifth-generation Floridian with a love for the state who is currently making her home in Jefferson County. Brown was born in St. Petersburg and has lived all over the state, including in Miami, and feels very strongly that she belongs in it. Brown moved to Monticello in 2020, which she says was “sort of an impulse decision.” She decided she wanted to move and experience somewhere new for the adventure of it, and she picked the Tallahassee area because she liked the flat lands and vibrant agricultural community in the surrounding areas.
