Megan Wellman awarded 2025 Fred Wuerffel Scholarship

Hailey Heseltine   ECB Publishing, Inc.  Aucilla Christian Academy (ACA) graduate Megan Wellman, daughter of Andrew and Susan Wellman, was recently awarded the 2025 Fred Wuerffel Scholarship. The 500 dollar award is an annual scholarship awarded to a Jefferson County high school senior since 1994 by Hiram Lodge No. 5 Free and Accepted Masons of Monticello in memory of Fred Wuerffel, who was described by Lodge Secretary Roy Faglie as “an exemplary Mason, dedicated member of Hiram Lodge and a strong supporter of our community's young people.” The awarded money can be used for any post-secondary education purposes.
