Memorial M.B. Church to unveil chair of Rev. J.B. Duval

Joretha Sloan and the congregation of Memorial Missionary Baptist Church invite the community to a special worship service at 3 p.m. on Sunday, June 2, as they unveil the chair of the late Moderator Emeritus Reverend Dr. J.B. Duval. Dr. Issac Manning, Jr., Moderator of the First Bethlehem Baptist Association, will be the guest speaker. Duval pastored the Memorial M. B. Church for 40 years before his death on Dec. 24, 2023. The unveiling of the chair is a ceremonial dedication of a deceased pastor.
