Milligan speaks at prayer breakfast: “Where would I be but for the Grace of God?”

The Spiritual Aims Committee of Kiwanis Club of Monticello hosted the Monticello Community Prayer Breakfast at the Jefferson Country Club on Feb. 1.
Kiwanian Max Belinski welcomed everyone and then led the group in song and the Pledge of Allegiance. The blessing was offered by Kiwanian Bob Davison, followed by a delicious pancake breakfast along with bacon and fresh fruit, served by the committee to a larger than usual crowd of around 80 people.
To begin the program, Mike Grisham of Gideons International led those gathered in singing “Love Lifted Me,” in anticipation of Valentine's Day. Father Stephen Pessah offered prayers for the sick and distress
