Minnie Lee Verduzco, 64, passed away on July 30, 2021, in Tallahassee, Fla. She was born Dec. 13, 1956, in Monticello, Fla., and is the daughter of Franklin Jefferson Cooksey and Berlene (Walker) Cooksey. A memorial service will be held at Abundant Life Harvest Church on Saturday, Aug. 21, 2021 at 11 a.m.Minnie was a lifelong resident of Monticello and attended Wacissa Pentecostal Holiness Church. She enjoyed cross stitching, singing, listening to music, cooking, researching family ancestry and going to the beach.In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jose Verduzco. Survivors include her mother, Berlene of Waukeenah, Fla.; son, Tony Verduzco, of Waukeenah, Fla.; brothers: Franklin Bruce Cooksey (Susan), of Waukeenah, Fla., and James Robert Cooksey, of San Antonio, T.X.; Aunts: Lavonne McElrath, Frances Walker, Rachel Cooksey, and Norma Cooksey; Uncles: Paul Cooksey (Barbara) and Silas Raker; many Nieces and Nephews; Mother-in-law, Lupe Virgen; Sisters-in-law: Carmen and Zoila Virgen; and Brothers-in-law: David, Eleno, and Bobby Virgen.
