Kyson Washington, a two-year-old child reported missing on Saturday, Sept. 17, was recovered unharmed by Jefferson County Sheriff Department (JCSO) deputies on Monday, Sept. 19.
According to the JCSO, deputies received information indicating that the missing child and his mother, Karlee Soldiew, who abducted him, were hiding in a local apartment. Sheriff's deputies gained entry to an apartment at the Jefferson Arms Apartments on East Clark Avenue. Once inside, they located Soldiew and Washington in a rear bedroom. Soldiew was arrested on an active Jefferson County warrant for Interference with Custody, while Washington was recovered unharmed.
