MOH windows removed for refurbishment

Historic preservation crews began work last week, carefully removing most of the windows from the Monticello Opera House (MOH) so that they can be refurbished and then reinstalled. Travelers around the Courthouse Circle could see workers on cherry pickers and in wall openings as they removed the arched stained glass sections and tall glass panels that line the upstairs theater walls. Then the gaping holes were boarded up.
