Mongrel dog politics

Wild dogs, left to their own devices, all revert to the mongrel dog look in a relative few generations. All wild dogs, all pets gone feral will, eventually, look about the same. I guess the genes seek some level at which the animal is most functional. After watching this week's social media and television accounts, I have decided that America is the mongrel dog of politics. We mostly wind up in the middle rather than the extreme, and for that, I am grateful.
