The Monticello Church of Nazarene wants to welcome the community to their clothing closet. This program is set up to help many receive goods and products at no cost.
There is no limit on the number of items that your allowed to take, thanks to many donations from the surrounding communities. They have just about everything and anything you can think of, including toys, clothes, shoes, furniture, kitchen items and more.
They are open every Tuesday from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. during the summer and soon will change to regular hours of operation from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. The clothing closet is also open every first Saturday of the month from 9 a.m. till noon. The building is located at 1590 N. Jefferson St. Their doors are open to everyone in the surrounding areas, not just Monticello residents.
Pastor Bethany Grosvenor and Samantha Wainwright are always looking for more volunteers with friendly faces to help meet and greet people as they come in and help with a prayer for those in need. Any helping hand would be significantly appreciated with time volunteered to donated goods.
The church asks that all donations are placed in the bin under the sanctuary carport behind the brick building. Placing donations in the back will help keep all goods from being disturbed by the weather and keep everything fresh and in good shape.
If you have any questions or need information, please feel free to contact Pastor Bethany Grosvenor at (850) 544-7413 or Samantha Wainwright at (850) 766-2772.
