It has been reported by authorities that on Wednesday morning, just before 12 noon, a 2012 gray Toyota Camry, driven by an 18 year old boy named Khalil Amarion Pugh, crashed into the entrance and exit doorways of the Thomasville Walmart Supercenter.
The impact caused several injuries, and a Monticello man, who has been identified as Kenneth Ray Kennedy, was reported to have died from injuries sustained at the scene.
Individuals who had witnessed the crash helped to detain Pugh, who attempted to flee the scene after the crash. Pugh is now being detained and has been charged with first-degree vehicular homicide, reckless driving, leaving the scene of an accident and driving without a license.
