On Tuesday, Jan. 19, Captain Pitts and Police Chief Mosley set up a large electronic sign which they programmed to inform passing drivers of the vaccines available at the Jefferson County Health Department.
Chief Mosley applied for money from the CARES-Act grant that was given to the county. He was granted the money and, with it, he bought two electronic signs that can be used throughout Monticello. It took a while for the signs to be shipped, but now that they're here, the Monticello PD will be sure to make good use of them for the community.
