Monticello receives $300K grant to upgrade wastewater system

Seth Lawless Monticello City Manager The City of Monticello was recently notified by Governor Ron DeSantis and the Florida Department of Commerce that it has been awarded a significant grant to support design upgrades to the City’s wastewater collection system. With this grant, the City will reconfigure the way wastewater is sent from the southern most parts of the service area at I-10 to the treatment plant on Mamie Scott Road.
