Mark your calendars for Feb. 26 and 27 for a Moonlight Cemetery Walk with Monticello’s Historic Ghost Tours. Monticello is known as being one of the most haunted small towns in the country. A cemetery walk in the moonlight is sure to include some evidence as to why. Fun, educational and a bit frightening, this event is sure to be fun for locals and visitors alike. During the tour you will be able to visit the resting places of prominent citizens, pay your respect to a WWII legend and listen to the stories behind the ghosts. Masks are required for the event. Also be sure to wear good walking shoes as the total distance for the tour is about 1.5 miles. The tour begins at 7 p.m. under the arch at the Roseland Cemetery, East Madison Street, Monticello. If you have questions or want to sign up, call (850) 997-5552, email Linda@monticelloJeffersonFL.com, or visit MonticelloJefferson.com.
